Started Studying music in 1942, then joined the musical institute on 1944 while he was playing Viola. He is one of the early founders of the Iraqi National Symphony Orchestra along with other members at that time which after that the INSO initiated from that institute. He also was teaching music in the School of Music and Ballet in Baghdad. For over 50 years. In a period of time he worked as the INSO manager along with his attendee as a Viola player.
