McLaren Sports Series, the entry level McLaren model
http://www.redspeedmark.com/mclaren-sports-series
On December 2, 2014. McLaren is working on a new car, an entry level model, which probably will be a serious competitor to cars like Porsche 911 Turbo. The engine will be the same twin-turbo 3.8 V8 you find in 650S and P1, but the power will be dailed down. The McLaren Sports Series cars will most likely be a car you easily could use as a daily driver, just like the 911 Turbo. McLaren released two photos, and one of them shows falcon doors, which is unusual in this segment. I'm a car geek with a passion ...

I was invited to meet the team and drivers (Robert Thorne and Alex Figge) and to see the 12C GT3 race car. The 12C GT3 is a beast! I'm a car geek with a passion for sportscars and exotics. I go to a lot of meet...

Husband, Entrepreneur, Geek, Car Nut and More…. Caching in the cloud – can you afford not to? December 8, 2014. One of the things I’ve put some effort into, developing the InspireAnalytics cogniSocial SaaS product, is caching. Of course I’m interested in paying as little as possible, so I have to make the pay-per-use work to my benefit. I have to optimize my server and database usage, otherwise I’m waisting money. Here’s a couple of things I do:. New data is only pulled from the sources once every day (m...

Husband, Entrepreneur, Geek, Car Nut and More…. I launched the product (in beta)! September 14, 2014. What a glorious day! After several months of coding, I finally launched my product. Right before I quit my job to work full-time on my business I bought a bottle of Dom Perignon and decided to pop the cork the day I released the beta version of my software. That day finally arrived! After more than 9 months of development, the Dom tasted better than any Champagne I’ve ever tasted. You may use these.
