I was born third of four children. My brother is the youngest and only boy and I have two older sisters. Like most middle children, I entertained myself marvelously. An active imagination decorated my world and occupied my mind. I made art, wrote stories, and told the most extravagant lies you’ve ever heard. I still remember precisely what it was like to be that little girl. She still lives inside my heart. Thank you for reading this blog and following along with my adventures. I appreciate you.

Second grade, here we come! August 25th, 2014. Feeling more than a little sad this morning as we send him off to second grade. He’s growing up before our eyes, such a sweet, cute boy. But I can’t help but notice the changing smile as the years pass. Second grade, here we come! I can’t wait to go pick him up and hear all about his day. I think I’ll bake him a cake. Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Weekly Finds and (re)Make(s). This week it is alllll about the Chandeliers. I felt like I hit the jackpot when I found these! There is another, larger chandelier like the medium one but I have it apart already. Regency style, beautiful large crystals. So, for the (re)make, I took the metal cherub, painted it white, added some pink bling, some chain and made it into a swag. Metal cherub from vintage chandy.
