As you’ve probably noticed throughout my home tours of the dining room. That there is definitely a design theme centered around grey toned walls, wood accents and industrial touches. Since we have a pretty open floor plan, it works to have this similar flow from room to room. However, when it came to decorating the front porch, this is where I could capitalize on the chance to throw in some pops of color! When it came to designing this area, I centered it around the focal point of a beautiful wood bench.

Finding strength in everyday things. Weekend Recap – The Parental Unit Visits. My parents came down for a quick visit this weekend. And because they were only with us for less than 48 hours, we packed in as much as we could! My flight out of Chicago was at 6:30 pm, which meant that I got into Tampa around 10:15 pm.
