A visual journal and photographic sketchbook. June 8, 2015. I managed to squeeze a refreshingly tranquil, if brief, photowalk into an otherwise intense weekend. I hadn’t been to the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden in years and it was even more beautiful, and the plant life more varied, than I remembered. Lovely! A visual journal and photographic sketchbook. July 18, 2015. I took a quick pre-birthday road trip up to Utah this week. It was spectacularly beautiful there and a refreshing change of scenery since I hadn’t been anywhere for quite a while. On the way home, we made a pitstop at this abandoned waterpark. Fascinating place although a couple of meth-addled “security guards” ended up making it one of my more nerve-wracking photo expeditions! This entry was posted in decay and dilapidation.
