Tuesday, May 20, 2014. A Broken Kind of Beautiful. This book, "A Broken Kind of Beautiful," by Katie Ganshert,. Was fun to read. I looked forward to sitting and relaxing. Has great characters that are just like me and you; flawed and forgiven. Intertwines faith that is real and can be understood. Has a wonderful love story. And who doesn't love that? Keeps you interest and is easy to read. I received this book free from Waterbrook Press for this review. Links to this post. Monday, May 19, 2014. With a NE...

Following the Forgiver: October 2013
http://followingtheforgiver.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 10, 2013. This is well written but in a day with so marriage so shaky, Gabe’s character as an over the top romantic is not reality for most of us. My husband has written me several poems throughout our 35 years of marriage and we are “two hearts devoted as one” but only because we have been strengthened by Christ’s romantic love intertwining with ours. This was what I thought was lacking in “Forever Friday”. I received this book from Waterbrook Press for my honest review.

Following the Forgiver: November 2013

Saturday, November 23, 2013. This is truly the best Christian fiction book I have never read. I read it 20 years ago and I read it again, celebrating its 20th anniversary. When God takes a book and makes it His own, it is truly amazing. I received this book from Waterbrook Press for my honest review. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Following the Forgiver: ALL IN
http://followingtheforgiver.blogspot.com/2015/07/all-in.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Rifqa Bary has extreme faith, the kind that I want. In her book "Hiding in the Light" she shares her story of giving up everything to follow Christ. This is a love story of a young girl who finds the kind of love people are searching for. It is not an easy journey after she finds Christ. The road to freedom is difficult, dangerous, and painful, but she. Preserves through prayer and God's living word. I received this book from Waterbrook Press for my honest review. Theres JOY in .

Following the Forgiver: May 2013
http://followingtheforgiver.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 20, 2013. It took me awhile to get out of bed and open my eyes this rainy morning. When I finally did I decided to listen to "Show Me Your Ways" in my praise time. I love the piano music in this version and how it talks about the faithful ways of God. And how in getting to know Him You will climb a mountain and that there is a cost. It is prayer to know God. Then as I sat down to pray for my family and many others, I saw the GIFT. There is no way to describe it's beauty here in words.

Following the Forgiver: April 2015
http://followingtheforgiver.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 16, 2015. My hubby gave me a "big rock" for our 30th anniversary. It was exactly what I wanted. Psalm 62:2 became our family verse and my daughter painted it on my rock. It is a reminder for me and for all who drive into our farm that "He alone is my rock and my salvation, He is my fortress, I will never be shaken.". This was 5 1/2 years ago and there are 11 more grandchildren today! I love you all. This building takes many forms. Sometimes it's using the wakeful hours before dawn to ...

Following the Forgiver: Love Without Limits
http://followingtheforgiver.blogspot.com/2015/03/love-without-limits.html
Friday, March 6, 2015. Perhaps it's because I've been married 36 years, have four children, and 15 grandchildren, that the marriage and parenting journey part of this book just didn't grab me personally. However, I do recommend it to others. It reminds all of us we can do nothing without Christ right smack dab in the middle of our relationships and lives. I received this book free of charge from Waterbrook Press for my honest review. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Butte, ND, United States.
