Saturday, August 6. After a really long time I decided it was time to start writing again. And since I have nothing better to do at this time, I might as well post an update on my life. I'm going to leave a lot of it and maybe save some stuff for later posts. So let me start this off by telling you where I am right now. The answer is - BARCELONA! The fabled Catalan city of the Sagrada Familia, and more importantly, home of the guapos! At me as they slap their glorious behinds. Brrr! Diamonds In The Ruff.

Wednesday, August 24. Something incredible happened to me today. I was watching the final episode of Six Feet Under, one of my favorite TV shows, and I experienced the most intense catharsis ever. Now, I'm not usually the type of person who sniffles when they see E.T. for the hundredth time. I even sat through the entire 3 hours of Breaking the Waves. Of the season finale. It really did blow me away, as the producers promised. Oh, and I might be in love with Claire. Go get it before they shut her down.

Wednesday, August 10. And so we are fast approaching the end of our stay in this wonderful city. We only have a little over one full day left in Barcelona, and then we are catching the plane back. The weather is kinda crappy today so I have a little more time for posting. After the bullfight, we saw another incredible part of Spanish culture. And this particular one blew my socks off! Saturday, August 13. Well, we arrived home last night and I finally got around to sorting through all the photos I've taken in Spain. Some of them turned out pretty good and some of them looked great on the little LCD display but turned out to be crap on the screen. Oh well. Sunday, August 14. 1995: An Echo From The Past. I was 17 and reluctantly dealing with my sexuality issues. I'd always been a bit of a geek, owning a computer since early childhood - first a Commodore 64, then IBM XT, then AT 286 computer. And it was about that time that the internet first hit Slovenia. And when I discovered a little chat client called mIRC. I was hooked in an instant. The chance to chat with people halfway around the globe for hours without worrying about huge bills. it was wild!
