Quest for Fun!: December 2014
http://blackdiamondgames.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2014. What do I care about? In my business, I care about three things: I care about my employees, I care about my customers, and I care about the profitability of the business. I care about these things in that order. In the business, everything else is just details. Don't sweat the details. Sweat these other things. All else is the buzzing of flies. My employees come first. The customer is not always right. I take care of my people. Do we have to ask why? Tuesday, December 30, 2014.

http://blackdiamondgames.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-copernican-problem-tradecraft.html
Saturday, March 28, 2015. The Copernican Problem (Tradecraft). When things are going poorly in the business, I tend to blame myself. I look internally at processes. I consider working longer hours. I wonder if I missed an important sales trend. Was there rain? How about a presidential election? Do I need a vacation? When things are going well, as they are now, I give credit to the economy. I notice that the population of my county. Saturday, March 28, 2015. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Simple temp...

Quest for Fun!: May 2015
http://blackdiamondgames.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 21, 2015. Can You Take It? In the long run, this is losing them money. This is a product that has a current street value 30% higher than the MSRP. That's based on retailers opening boxes they received early and valuing cards. Although speculators will try to lowball estimates so they can buy low from fools, retailers now know better. Yet, many retailers still sell below MSRP. I will admit, we sold a small amount of ours early at a small discount while we gauged demand, but now? The best thi...

Quest for Fun!: That Cards Against Humanity Game
http://blackdiamondgames.blogspot.com/2015/05/that-cards-against-humanity-game.html
Thursday, May 7, 2015. That Cards Against Humanity Game. My general take on this game:. It's in bad taste, it's simplistic, and kind of dull as a game, other than trying to gauge the depravity of your friends (which can be amusing). I've played it once. Why is it popular?
