So, Claire and I are talking about all the animals and bugs and reptiles we have here at our house - inside and out - mostly in - and here is the list:. Zorros (sort of like a possum). And once I opened my front gate to leave and there was a baby cow standing there staring at me. Now THAT was a surprise. So far, none have them, other than spiders, have ended up in the bed. Yet.

Friday, August 29, 2008. I have Fox News! Well, I just discovered that they cable company kindly added Fox News to my fine selection of channels. I have to say that I am thrilled. I never, ever thought I would say that about Fox but I now have a news channel in ENGLISH that I can really follow! CNN en Espanol is nice but it is too hard to follow, especially with kids running around. So, while I missed Barack and Michelle's speeches, I can now follow what is happening in the world! Friday, May 30, 2008. Shortly after my post the rain began to fall heavier . . . And Heavier. . . . But, we are now back at home, snug and sound. Thank god we don't have carpet or hardwood floors. Wednesday, November 5, 2008. My experience on election day. At 6pm I went to a friend's house to watch the results. At 7pm results started pouring in. I sat hunched over staring at the television as the results slowly rolled in. McCain's speech was honest, humble and generous. I have a lot of respect for him after hearing his speech. He showed a lot of class. I also loved Barack's. So, at the end of the day, I am thrilled. I feel hopeful. Most of all, I am proud to be an American...Matt and Julie C.
