Keeping it Peel | Fulsome Prism
https://fulsomeprism.wordpress.com/2014/10/26/keeping-it-peel
October 26, 2014. It is ten years ago today that John Peel died. I have been thinking about it a lot recently. I have been thinking of how huge an influence he had on my life (not just my record collection), and how therefore his death had a massive impact too. I expect this is true for many of his listeners my age: I still deeply needed him. The group hug on Twitter tonight. Snipped from between tracks in the 1990 Festive Fifty. Thanks for making being fourteen bearable, John. x. John Peel Day mix.

I Started Lying (Down) And I Couldn’t Stop. October 19, 2014. Tags: fulsome prism recordings. Hello, I know I’ve not been here for a while, but since the last time you heard from me I’ve started up this blog’s namesake record label: Fulsome Prism Recordings. What does your mind process when you encounter this image? But did I need that piece of information? My brain seemed to make certain gut reactions about the emotional charge ...

I was in the lovely Brighton on the weekend with no access to t'interweb, hence the lack of posting. so here's my song of the week for last week. When I'm With You.
