May 16th, 2012. Fishing Report May 16, 2012. Wind is SW at 8. Water temp is 57 degrees. We have muddy water. A few bottom fish. I would try for Sea Mullet. The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported good Trout fishing this morning. No bottom fish yet. Avalon: Smorgasbord. Croaker, small Trout, small Flounder, Sea Mullet, and Spot. Nags Head: Baby Trout, Croaker and a few Mullet. Outer Banks: A variety this morning. Croaker, Spot and Sea Mullet. Good Trout fishing around Mann’s Harbor.
