The 90 year-old woman who died that day was Iva Toguri. Her troubled tale is a sad one, a tale of racism, greed and hysteria, and you can read a summary of her life in The Times. It means to blossom or to bloom. 9 simple strokes. It reads " Saki. To celebrate our daughter's birth my sister gave us a book of Saki's greatest works. Was the pen name of Hugh Hector Munro.
