A Renaissance Mom: November 2007
http://arenaissancemom.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 27, 2007. What to do with leftover chicken? Whenever we have rotisserie chicken from Costco or fried chicken from the grocery store for dinner, we always have leftovers. I know, you'd think in a family of 9, there would never be leftovers. But we do! And they usually end up at the back of the fridge until someone discovers them at which time they are in a state that is not conducive to eating. Then they become trash! Will it taste funny? Friday, November 16, 2007. A Little Late Halloween.

A Renaissance Mom: Taming the Jungle
http://arenaissancemom.blogspot.com/2009/05/taming-jungle.html
Wednesday, May 6, 2009. We are s l o w l y trying to get control of the backyard. I let it all go this winter and now must pay the price. What a mess! This is Fraser on the annual Easter Egg Hunt. See the mess of weeds behind him? They aren't there anymore! Needless to say, this guy isn't getting his bankruptcy done by us. Now I've got to find someone who will do electrical work for cheap so I can plant new grass. Before the landlord sees it would be nice! I certainly couldn't have bought that many.

A Renaissance Mom: December 2007
http://arenaissancemom.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 14, 2007. I wanted to try the soft tree pattern. I found on little birds handmade. I already had the red felt. The only thing I had in enough quantity to make three trees was the little white pom-poms. So the result was polka-dot trees! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Renaissance Mom: February 2008
http://arenaissancemom.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 27, 2008. It's a sickness, I tell ya'. Of course, cartoon characters aren't easy to translate into real life. You can draw shapes that just don't exist on real people. Seriously, who has a waist as tiny as Franny? I've sketched out the two dresses pictured above, but have not attempted to actually make them. Some day I will find an excuse to try one! Saturday, February 23, 2008. An Apron For My Grandma. Threads fraying, don't pull on it too much or it will rip old! Of course, I'm neve...

A Renaissance Mom: Wicked
http://arenaissancemom.blogspot.com/2008/11/wicked.html
Wednesday, November 5, 2008. I bought our Wicked tickets today! We try to do a holiday outing every year. We don't always, but we try. This year we were debating between a weekend in San Francisco and seeing Teatro Zinzanni. Or staying home and seeing Wicked. What an amazing waste of time! Here is Grace's Wicked outfit:. Don't you just love the cape and scotty dog purse? Ashley and Brianna can take care of themselves. Are you both reading this? You are too old for me to dress anymore. Of course, they...

A Renaissance Mom: Victory Rolls for Grace
http://arenaissancemom.blogspot.com/2009/04/victory-rolls-for-grace.html
Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Victory Rolls for Grace. Yesterday, I watched a YouTube video that showed how to do a vintage hair style. Today, I tried it on my 3 year old. Doing a hairstyle on a three year old isn't exactly a smart thing to do. They don't sit still very well! But it turned out okay. I'm not too happy with the faux bang thing. But she's cute anyway! Please ignore the peach yogurt that she spilled all over the front of her dress. Ashley B ;-). And who sent you the video? I hope you enjoy my blo...

A Renaissance Mom
http://arenaissancemom.blogspot.com/2008/11/i-guess-im-not-very-good-at-keeping-up.html
Monday, November 3, 2008. I guess I'm not very good at keeping up a blog! February was my last post? OK, so I'll try. To keep up a little better. So instead of rehashing old stuff, let's just start fresh. Halloween! The costumes got finished in time. Thankfully! Grace was a mermaid. Grace has been talking about being a mermaid for months, so there was no other option. But I think I'm just camera illiterate. Where the Wild Things Are. They did a great job. I'm so proud! That's it for costumes this year!
