McGregor, Western Cape, South Africa. Restaurants in the village include Tebaldi's, Karoux and Green Gables. The Krans nature reserve and the Boesmanskloof hiking trail are readily accessible. McGregor is less than 2 hours from Cape Town and is a fine example of mid 19th century Cape architecture. The village offers ready access to a number of wineries including McGregor winery, Lords, Tanagra, Wolfdoring and Kingsriver. Various art and pottery studios are to be found in the village.

Intostone is an elegant and spacious Cape homestead, set in the historic village of McGregor. The house has a large open plan living and dining area, with fireplace and wide stoeps front and back, surrounded by a small olive grove, a vineyard, fruit trees, nut trees and fynbos. Intostone is tastefully furnished and fully equipped to accommodate 12 people (6 bedrooms - 5 double beds - 2 single beds). There are 2 bathrooms and an additional outside shower. R 3 600 per night for a maximum of 12 people.

Intostone has a microwinery which produces wine from grapes grown in a small vineyard on the same premises. The Shiraz vines were planted during 2007. Grapes from the third harvest were used to make the first wine during February 2011. The wine is entirely organic and handmade. No pesticides, herbicides or other chemicals are used in either the vinegrowing or winemaking process, save for a minimal quantity of sulphur dioxide in the winemaking. Also see Tourism McGregor.
