Keskiviikko 15. heinäkuuta 2015. Kuukausi Suomessa vierähti nopeesti, kaikenlaista kivaa maakuntamatkailua, mökkeilyä ja pussikaljaa tuli harrastettua. Nyt on kuitenkin palattu takas Wieniin. Mulle on tässä viime päivinä iskenyt hullu matkakuume, ja tekis mieli tehdä nimenomaan joku pidempi seikkailu. Naapurimaita pidemmälle ei varmaan vähään aikaan ole kuitenkaan mahdollista reissata, kun tilillä on 11 euroa, ja mulla alkaa täällä Wienissä eräs kolmivuotinen koulukin syksyllä! Koko tämä Vltava-joen alue...

Keskiviikko 27. toukokuuta 2015. 2x0,5 päivää Budapestissä. 2552015, Budapest, lentokenttä. Mä päätin jättää kesäisen Wienin kuukaudeksi taakseni ja lähteä nauttimaan Suomen 7 -asteisesta ilmastosta. Lennot irtosi tällä kertaa halvemmalla Budapestistä, joten vietettiin täällä Serin kanssa yhden yön pikaloma ennen aina yhtä hajottavia jäähyväisiä. Illalle meidän ainoa suunnitelma oli käydä hakemassa asumuksemme lähigrilliltä langos, eli semmoinen paikallinen rasvassa paistettu lätty, joka täällä on tapana...

Pokhara on kuulema lumihuippuisten vuorten ympäröimä kaupunki, mutta koska tähän aikaan vuodesta taivas on pilvessä melkein koko ajan, nähtiin vuorista vain pikku pilkahduksia silloin tällöin. Laura oli ensin meidän ilona neljä päivää, jolloin mm. vuokrattiin erittäin kiikkerä "soutu"vene, eli vene ja kaksi melaa, ja melottiin sen ihanan järven keskelle pitämään piknikki. Keskiviikko 30. huhtikuuta 2014. 29414, päivä 123. Joen "toinen puoli", Hampi island on laiska ja lepponen paikka, jossa on muutamia guesthouseja, joista suurin osa näin offseasonilla oli suljettu. Reissareita toisella puolella oli ehkä 20-30, joista monet kerääntyi iltaisin samaan ravintolaan hengailemaan, joten tunnelma oli kovin ystävällinen ja rento kuten edelliselläkin kerralla. Kivojen ihmiskavereiden lisäksi saatiin myös kivoja koirakavereita. Toinen puoli on tosiaan kyllä aikamoinen reissarikupla...
