(into the) wildernest: August 2012
http://intothewildernest.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 26, 2012. This one is called "Spark! The above photo is my carved piece of linoleum. The above print is my "test print" that I made to see how things were looking. I printed a turquoise circle first, then printed my main print on top. for some added "spark". I really like the big frame around the image. I will definitely have to do more frame prints in the future. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Simple template. Powered by Blogger.

Monday, August 8, 2011. My pallet headboard has been finished for a while now but I've been waiting to get some good pictures of it before I posted it. I don't really qualify these fisheye photos as good ones, but I just never can resist a good fisheye! Anyway, it is finished and hung up. It took me a while to decide whether to mount it to my bedframe or the wall, but I finally decided on the wall. Labels: stuff i made. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Saturday, July 20, 2013. It's been a while since I've posted anything, but that doesn't mean I haven't been working on things! Here is "Factory Whale", which is for sale on Etsy here. The print has one yellow spot, which makes things a little more exciting. I've printed it on light blue and white paper so far. My next new print is my interpretation of my husband's oil painting of a corn crib in Iowa:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Simple template. Powered by Blogger.

The simple things in life.". Monday, May 19, 2014. We had a good time at the Renfest this year. Sarah and Megan and her two youngins came with us this year. Saryn was a good girl in her backpack carrier. Raven's first year doing the Maypole dance with the Faeries. Clapping along as they sang a song. Mikel has never had a Turkey leg at the Renfest so it was about time he ate one, Sarah and Megan got one too. Raven went with the shrimp and chips but ate some of Grandma's Turkey leg too.

The simple things in life.". Wednesday, November 16, 2011. We didn't take Raven trick-or-treating this year, but we did take her to the church trunk-or-treat. Raven was a chicken, Mikel a farmer and I was a road (I-985/I-85 merger to be precise). There were some really good costumers there but I only got pictures of a couple of them. We went to just a couple of trunks, because we'd be the ones eating most of the candy. It was a fun night. On Saturday we took Raven to mom and pops and they watched her so ...

The simple things in life.". Monday, October 6, 2014. Saryn didn't quite know what to think of her first real beach experience. She enjoyed the sand but was not a big fan of the water. Raven jumped right in like an old pro. We ate at a place called Boondocks for dinner, and they weren't kidding, it was out of the way to get to, but the food was wonderful. Hotel or as Raven called it, Beach house, tv time. Gathering sea shells in the morning. Burrying the girls in sand. Sunset on the beach.

The simple things in life.". Wednesday, April 3, 2013. We had a busy but fun Easter this year. We had a brunch with Mikel's family at a park where we ate food, hunted eggs and played on the playground. Later we went to Grandma's house to visit since Megan was in town for the weekend. Raven dyed her eggs there because we didn't have time to do it the night before or that morning. Later we went to Nanny's for an awesome dinner, more egg hunting and playing with the cousins. The simple things in life.". Tuesday, May 28, 2013. A few weeks ago we went on a bit of a mini vacation. On Saturday we went to the Renaissance Festival and then spent the night at an Embassy Suites. Raven got her face painted again. She was very still and asked for a kitty moon. Mikel tried to be a strong man again. He rang the bell on his first try! Raven got some fairy wings and was so cute hopping around everywhere saying, "I'm flying! Saryn making herself comfortable at the hotel. Watermark template...

The simple things in life.". Monday, April 30, 2012. Friday, April 13, 2012. Raven and I dyed Easter eggs. I would hand Raven an egg and she would throw it in the cup. She loved doing it, but wanted to reach in and pick it up after. I painted our eggs after the were dyed. Easter egg hung with Mikel's family. Raven loved hunting Easter eggs, she was a pro at picking them up and putting them in her bag. I forgot her basket though. Eggs are fun, but sticks are good too. Enjoying her chocolate bunny.

Neat hotdog place in Columbia, great milk shakes! Beach in Charleston, it was very nice with great facilities. Raven had a blast. She couldn't wait to get her hands in the sand and she was not shy about getting in the water either. A manager gave us coupons for a free homemade ice cream in their gift shop. Good stuff! Friday, October 11, 2013. My husband and I have an art show up right now in Anchorage at Modern Dwellers Chocolate Lounge. This is Daniel's first ever art show, but won't be his last.
