Into the Worm Bin...

Into the Worm Bin. Experiments in the World of Vermicomposting! Monday, April 24, 2006. And On the Fifth, Sixth and Seveth Days. Well, the worms were placed carefully in the bin over the food scraps which had been in there for a couple of days. I did leave a light on over the open bin for about 30 hours to force them into the bedding and not over the sides! They seemed to take quite well, better than expected actually and I hope they are settling in nicely. Posted by ScbNymph @ 1:50 PM. On checking the b...

Into the Worm Bin...: In the Beginning.....

http://www.intothewormbin.blogspot.com/2006/04/in-beginning.html

Into the Worm Bin. Experiments in the World of Vermicomposting! Tuesday, April 18, 2006. With the wait of the World on my shoulders, the eternal question for me is "what can I do to help, what should my small role be"? My husband calls me a "An Aging Hippy", I say that I am a "Progressive Pagan"! I am concerned about the amount of trash which flows daily through my hands. YES! I am concerned about the future of our natural resources. YES! Posted by ScbNymph @ 10:56 AM. View my complete profile.

Into the Worm Bin. Experiments in the World of Vermicomposting! Wednesday, April 19, 2006. And On the Second Day. WellThis is quite scary really, I have 2lbs of worms arriving on Thursday / Friday and I'm now TERRIFIED that I'm gonna end up killing them! And so the learning curve begins! Posted by ScbNymph @ 7:56 AM. Clifton Park, New York, United States. Gardening is a passion which is not only great stress relief from everyday life but it has also introduced me to other things. Into the Worm Bin. Experiments in the World of Vermicomposting! Friday, April 21, 2006. And On the Fourth Day. My worms arrived, all 2lbs of them! The look of the mailmans face was a classic, "what the H*@L could you have in there for it to be listed as Live Animals"! All I have to do now is get them home tonight and slowly encouraged into my worm bin. Hopefully they will like their new home and acclimate quickly. I am rather nervous now and hope that I'm gonna be a good "mummy". View my complete profile.

Down My Garden Path. A reguarly updated account about the goings-on in my gardens. Friday, February 17, 2006. Spring Is In the Air! Its been a long time since I posted anything regarding my gardens! Things wound down VERY quickly for me at the end of last season and I was thankful to get a short break. Then off course those long winter nights showed up, albeit mild ones and all of a sudden gadening is the last thing on anybody's mind! Posted by ScbNymph @ 9:49 AM. Down My Garden Path. A reguarly updated account about the goings-on in my gardens. Thursday, April 20, 2006. Pase Greenhouse Order Arrives! Over the late winter months I started ordering plants from eBay. The second batch of those arrived last night - Varigated Weigela, Buttonbush, Northern Bayberry and Cinnamon Fern. All arrived in good, healthy looking condition with moist roots and buds looking like they want to start to swell and open. Just I will have to do some research and find a sport for it!

Down My Garden Path. A reguarly updated account about the goings-on in my gardens. Tuesday, August 30, 2005. Saturday, August 28th. What a wonderful day Saturday turned out to be! With Fall on the way and a "first frost date" of mid-September I decided it was time to stop procrastinating and get the last of the plants in the ground. I seem to be collecting plants of late, they come from all corners and then I find I don't have time to plant them straight away (slap on the wrist for me! Fall is on the Way.

Down My Garden Path. A reguarly updated account about the goings-on in my gardens. Thursday, June 30, 2005. Happy 4th of July. Well, to all of you that actually take the time to read my ramblings, I thank you. Its nice to know that my garden interests people other than me! That obviously means that there will be no ramblings until after the weekend, probably Tuesday. So have a great weekend, happy 4th of July and I'll see you all on the other side! Down My Garden Path. A reguarly updated account about the goings-on in my gardens. Saturday, July 30, 2005. What a long hot day! I went outside this morning with the full intention of spending the weekend catching up on my gardening chores and I did! I have spent ALL day pulling weeds and generally tidying up after the neglect of the past few weeks! Needless to say that now my back and shoulders are VERY sore! Posted by ScbNymph @ 7:08 PM. Down My Garden Path. A reguarly updated account about the goings-on in my gardens. Monday, May 30, 2005. Monday, May 30th. Also, the Rhododendron looks like it will bloom in the next few days. The opening buds are a very pale pink. All but two of my Lily's have poked their heads above ground. I can't wait to see them all in bloom. The Liatris have really started to grow although they still have a ways to go until they start flowering. Posted by ScbNymph @ 11:00 PM. Clifton Park, New York, United States.

Into The World Of Public Relations

Into The World Of Public Relations. Candy Tymson - Writing a Media Release. I also learnt that no matter how well written a media release is, the content needs to be news worthy and relevant to the media for it to be considered.
