Wednesday, May 25, 2011. This is a back post since I am so behind). I spent a lot of time before Easter wondering how it would be. One of my favorite and most recent memories of my dad was from Easter last year. We had lunch at our house and then afterwards we had egg hunts for the kids and daddy went outside to fly kites with the kids. It was just a sweet day. It was a rainy kind of morning and I didn't get any really good photos of the kiddos before (or after) church. MeeMee helped Ellie find a few eggs.

Saturday, October 29, 2011. Tonight we started off our Halloween fun. There were three local churches who were hosting Trunk or Treat activities and we took Ellie to hit them all. Man, have I got a lot to look forward to. This photo is everything sans an eye-roll. I have SO much to look forward to in about ten years! This was the first year that Josh didn't dress up for Halloween. That made me sad. He went along with us and said he had fun, but he's growing up too, too fast. It was actually fun, though!

Thursday, November 3, 2011. Halloween 2011 has come and has gone, leaving nothing but a couple of kids who had belly aches the next day, dirty costumes and fond memories - exactly the way it should be! We took mom and then met up with the Thomases at our church's annual Harvest Festival.'. After the Harvest Festival, we all stopped in at the local Dairy Queen for dinner (because we certainly didn't eat hotdogs, chili, cotton candy OR popcorn at the festival - right! It was a good year. Scary man - ha!
