Update on Pastor Salmon. My dad is Pastor (Bishop) Daniel R. Salmon, senior pastor of Harvest Temple Church of God in King, NC. He is husband of 50 years, father of 4 children and peepaw to 8 grandchildren. He is also brother, cousin and uncle to many family members. He is Chaplain to the city of King, the King Police and Fire Departments and the NC State Troopers. We cherish your prayers for his healing and for our family. Update on Pastor Salmon. Archive for December, 2010. December 1, 2010. Wednesday, December 1, 2010. We are still praying for dad to be able to walk. He must get to the point where he can sit up without aid and balance himself, so we are told. The physical therapist is optimistic that he will be successful. The physical therapy visits include working on sitting and even standing for very short amounts of time. The effort is very difficult and tiring for dad but his determination is strong.

Update on Pastor Salmon. Saturday, June 19th. Some orange nabs (as dad calls them) and a french vanilla cappuccino. One other praise report to let you know about: the doctor has completely removed the ventilator from the house and dad’s percentage of oxygen has been drastically reduced. This simply means that he is using less and less support oxygen and relying more and more on his own breathing. Thank you again for continuing to pray. Blessings to you and your family. It was a year ago this month that we brought dad home from the hospital on a ventilator, with a feeding tube, a catheter and part of his skull still missing. God has done great things!
