What can I say? I'm nothing if not consistently random. Let's see here . . . I'm makin' progress with life here kids. I ordered the transplants for the garden this summer, a dozen tomatoes and peppers of various types . . . so coming in april, baby vegetables! I knocked out the last of the pink knitting (yay! Now I'm in the middle of the yellow, and once that's done, on to the green. Three hats, three pairs of socks. The air conditioner is finally gone! Enough randomness, thanks. What can I say? I'm nothing if not consistently random. Garden Update . . . It has pictures. Let's see now . . . It's getting warmer, and with the rain we've been getting, the backyard garden (at mom's) is really booming. The tomato crop is starting to come in, especially the grape tomatoes:. We're about to have a second wave of beans, and the first wave were nice and sweet, so we're excited to have more. There are lots of big green tomatoes on the vines:. The daylilies have also been quite happy:. 1 Gra...

Inestimable Variety: Perhaps

http://www.invariablyme.blogspot.com/2008/02/perhaps.html

What can I say? I'm nothing if not consistently random. I should begin an adventure in posting more often . . . but seriously. I need to get some photo's taken so I can show the fun stuff I've been up to, but the light in the apartment has been abysmal, what with winter and all and there being a good bit of rainy days. And I need to take some process shots of things, which is hard to remember to do when you're in the throws of actually doing it. Strange thoughts I have at 2am . . . Hogwarts Sock Swap Two.

Yarn: Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool, 192 yd's/50g, color 08 Herb. I also decided to use that hemmed edge to add an extra inch of length to the body, as I am long in the torso, and don't like it when I sit down and my sweater and jeans gap. When I wear a sweater, it's because I need the added warmth: gaps mean drafts kids, and drafts are cold! I don't oft...

Didn't you all wonder what I was really thinking? Rants mostly about knitting and other crafty things. Friday, June 6, 2008. Gauge: 16sts/22rows for 4 inches. To Download a 1.4mb PDF.

So I present to you what i consider to be my first real yarn. It's a 50/50 superwash merino/tencel in the "Fraises" colorway from Squoosh. So after doing my part to stimulate the economy, I now have 5 spindles, and quite a bit of fiber. I have some superwash merino hanging to dry that I will try to get pictures of if the sun ever somes out. So it's time...

Didn't you all wonder what I was really thinking? Rants mostly about knitting and other crafty things. Monday, January 28, 2008. My computer ate my pictures. This is very frustrating, as there were quite a lot of pictures on the card I was trying to upload. Now I need to go retake those pictures, which will have to wait. Didn't you all wonder what I was really thinking? Rants mostly about knitting and other crafty things. Friday, November 30, 2007. Anyone else hear Olivia Newton John when they say that word, or is it just me? I wanted to show you what I think is the magic called blocking. This is the Print o the Wave stole. I knit last year, off the needles, pre-blocking. I used Knitpicks Alpaca Cloud. Midnight I think, and US 4 needles. A big lump of bumpy knitting. This is the stole blocking on my bed. Here is a lace s...

Didn't you all wonder what I was really thinking? Rants mostly about knitting and other crafty things. Thursday, September 27, 2007. So, tomorrow turned into the next day and the next, and I never got those modeled shots up. Life got really busy there for a bit. What the heck happens to the time anyway? Did we humans complain about life's tempo before we started keeping watch of the clock? I mean, did cavemen grunt to their families about how the sun seems to pass overhead more quickly every day?

Sorry - I couldn't inform you - Since things happened in such a hurry that I really didn't understand what to do and how to do? Somehow most of the times (I do give the benefit of doubt to those whom I know were really in that situation) my ears hear something and my mind translates it to something else. Here's how it goes.
