This film describes the whole story of Pearl harbor attack by Japan in 1941. This attack caused the PacificWar. This film is a collaboration of America and Japan. So it refered to discord between Amerca and Japan from both sides fairly. I could understannd the background. At the first half, I could see how Japan decieded to start the Pacific war. And at the latter half, I was surprised that the battle scenes were very powerful, although this filmdid not use computer graphic. View my complete profile.

The diary of Anne Frank. As you know, this is a film based on a true story, the diary of Anne Frank. Anne and her family lived in an attic to hide from the Nazis with their roomers. She kept her diary at there and wrote her feelings obediently. During the living over two years, she experienced first love. However, one day they were found and she died. This film describes Gandhi's life. Gandhi was a noble lawyer. When he went to South Africa, he saw violent distinctions against Indian. So he rose up against England. The way was non violent, non cooperation. People who were encouraged by him had never revenged on the British colonial rulers. The scene that people were hitted silently as a protest demonstration was very impressive and I was overwhelmed. The life style of Gandhi is very very wonderful! In this film, the character of seven samurai was attaractive, they had indivisuality. The acting of Kikuchiyo was very interesting. There are clear differences between quiet scenes and moving scenes, it was exciting for me. This film is very old, however reflections are real even without computer graphic. The orginal work of this film is a novel by Steeven King who is famous for "Stand By Me" and "Green Mile". The hero, Andy was a clever banker, however one day he was imprisoned on a false charge. In Shawshank prison, he had never lost hope and contnued to believe tomorrow. On the other hand, his friend, Red advised him not to have hope in prison, but he took back his hope gradually by Andy's strong feeling. At last they got their freedom. This is a musical film that has many songs and dances. There are many scenes that cast expressed their fellings by singing. One poor flower selller, Eliza Doolittle, who had spoken bad English met one rich professor, Henry Higgins. He tried to make her perfect lady by teaching correct English speaking and behavior.
