Scrappractical: Second Grade
http://scrappractical.blogspot.com/2014/08/second-grade.html
My crafting and rambling. Monday, August 18, 2014. Last week was our first official week of school. My little guy is a 2nd grader. I think Homeschooling makes the time feel more appropriate and less like a whirlwind. I don't say "Where does the time go? Because I know where it went. I have the lesson planners to prove it. :). I am so grateful for all the resources I have found and won for homeschooling. I won $150 to All About Learning. Which I used to buy the All About Spelling curriculum. These are jus...

My crafting and rambling. Saturday, October 19, 2013. Links to this post. Friday, October 18, 2013. With a few exceptions (to be detailed later), we had an amazing vacation. We all had lots of fun and even a little relaxation. Just a little though. :). So, the trip down was uneventful after that, other than continuous rain. Not a sprinkle either. A downpour almost the entire time. The rain didn't let up until we crossed into Florida. Finally, it tapered off and we got to our hotel in dry ...We had intend...

Scrappractical: August 2013
http://scrappractical.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
My crafting and rambling. Saturday, August 31, 2013. The finished (I think) product! I was walking with a friend the other day and got the idea to finish Colson's costume with a baseball hat. I had seen lots of cute hats, but they were mostly felt or yarn. In 80 degree weather, that would have been a little rough. Then the inspiration struck to use a baseball cap. Here is the entire costume. Links to this post. Monday, August 19, 2013. Little Big Planet Halloween Costume. I set out to find a dark brown s...

Scrappractical: YWAM Publishing Review
http://scrappractical.blogspot.com/2014/07/ywam-publishing-review.html
My crafting and rambling. Thursday, July 10, 2014. As a part of the first giveaway I won, I received two books from YWAM Publishing. They are from the Christian Heroes: Then and Now series. They are biographies of George Muller and Gladys Aylward. They are suggested for ages 10 and up. My DS is a little too young for them, so I decided to read them myself. I am definitely going to buy more books from YWAM Publishing. I can't wait until my DS can enjoy them with me! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Scrappractical: July 2013
http://scrappractical.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
My crafting and rambling. Thursday, July 25, 2013. Plastic Drink Container - Bird Feeder. My hubby is an avid tea drinker. There is never a time in our house that we don't have at least 3-4 of the little plastic drink containers lying around. I've already used several for marker storage and I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out what more I can do with them. They are decently sturdy and a good size, so I figure I might as well upcycle them. Knife (I used a box cutter). Links to this post.
