I carried a watermelon? This post has been, without a doubt, as prompt as The Royal Mail at Christmas. When the hell did they change the name of. Who wants to be a Millionaire. So where was I? Oh yes. Bondi. 3 years into my life as a Sydneyite, i found my pocket. My Cove. My Nest. My Burb. My how things have changed since then. but that's another post all together. I have been itching to write. In fact I take that back. I have needed to write. I just didn't know it. Carrying Watermelons: Items my mother has sent me in the Post
http://carryingwatermelons.blogspot.com/2010/05/items-my-mother-has-sent-me-in-post.html
I carried a watermelon? Items my mother has sent me in the Post. 1) A potato masher. She was so impressed by the design. 2) A Howards Storage Catalogue. Note: this was accompanied by pictures taken on the mobile phone of ‘stretch’ shelves. She had purchased to create more room in her own kitchen cupboards, primarily for the pots and pans. 3) A Saba Business Shirt she purchased but never wore and some Mineral ID makeup that she didn’t like (again after purchasing). I carried a watermelon? Outback Update - Day #3. O h shame on you unimaginative souls who thought nothing exciting would happen aboard a train in the middle of nowhere! A few bumpy moments at Breakfast and some Camels running into the distance provided a small distraction. but I'll get back to that in just a moment. He even followed up with a phone call to her about an hour after we left the station. He's in for sure. Note, i don't usually make a habit of eavesdropping on elderly peoples soppy co...The w...

involuntaryhousewife | Coming to terms with my role as a housewife.
September 2, 2011 at 9:21 am ( Uncategorized. A few days ago I took my son to a local lakeside park to meet up with some other mammas and kids. My son is VERY outgoing, he’s never met a stranger. To him, a stranger is just a friend he hasn’t met yet. I love that about him. I believe that is what Jesus is talking about when he say we need to become like little children, all-inclusive. 8221; and they would turn their backs on him, look at each other and mouth, “Do you know him? Honestly, when you look at t...

Travel guide 1: Iya Valley in Tokushima. February 24, 2009. Azure waters, extremely old people and the Death Bus. May I make a recommendation? I recommend getting a mask to prevent bugs from climbing into your mouth while you are gasping. Look at that road! It’s 6 feet wide! It’s no Space Mountain, but it’s fun. Hint: Your name, your quest, blue.

Surgeon General's Warning: if you are proned to being easily disugusted or offended, get lost now. Or if you take a general liking to humanity, this is not the blog for you. Later! Sunday, July 12, 2009. Not that there hasn't been any worthy stories to post within the past two years (cause there certainly has), but I lost interest in posting and actually forgot this existed. Involuntary Memory
A group blog dedicated to the reading and discussion of Marcel Proust's In Search of Lost Time. Sunday, March 14, 2010. In the second half of 2006, I began reading Remembrance of Things Past. Or what today commonly is titled In Search of Lost Time. Today I finished it. This is not to say that the title changed while I was reading it. But I didn't really recapture time, either. I might get through ten pages before my eyes fell shut. With Proust, it was more like two pages. But I did not understand its con...

Life’s challenges are not supposed to paralyze you, they’re supposed to help you discover who you are. — Bernice Johnson Reagon. Monday, November 5, 2012. I feel like I've spent my entire life fighting. Fighting to take control of things that are completely out of my control. Fighting for what is right. Fighting against what I believe is wrong. Well, guess what? I am tired. Worn the hell out. Emotionally, physically, spiritually. I feel sorry for him. Big difference, huh? I have uncovered a protective, p...

Involuntarymovement is dance that is neither discovered nor invented, but invited; not what the dancer does, but what creeps in because of what the dancer is doing. Involuntarymovement is learning. It is what you do when you don't know what to do. Involuntarymovement is engaging with all involved, animate and inanimate, mostly slowly, mostly long term. Involuntarymovement is performing all the time. Involuntarymovement is cooking from stories; not letting recipes get in the way of your senses.
