Sea and Sky: November 2009
http://tyiahuntsman.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 12, 2009. Since my return to Arizona 3 weeks ago we have bottled 90 lbs of beets, 20 lbs of concord grapes, 20 loaves of bread kits, and 50 lbs of chicken. Once again the closets are filling up and our dinners are getting tastier. I am so excited to keep this tradition alive, to pass on these skills and knowledge to the next generation. And while I pray that we never need. All of this food we are storing, I am grateful for the sense of peace I have knowing that we have it no matter what.

Sea and Sky: The first real candidate
http://tyiahuntsman.blogspot.com/2012/07/first-real-candidate.html
Wednesday, July 4, 2012. The first real candidate. And by candidate, I do not mean the impending presidential election.ick. No, no, this is much more fun :). So after a couple of days of licking my wounds I bucked up and went on the hunt again. This time nothing screamed my name. And I was a little more careful to look for small details such as level floors, windows less than 100 years old, storage for my millions and millions of things, usable space in the basement.ya know.the basics :). That door goes ...

Sea and Sky: November 2008

Monday, November 17, 2008. An angel among us. In fact Becky was such a fighter that I think I never thought she would finally go. This is a hard one to accept for so many of us. Becky has finally left us for greater adventures. She is now with her sweet brother, Parrin, who also fought the fight against their "65 Roses". She is with our beloved and greatly missed grandparents and Uncle David. Tyia, with roots and wings. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). An angel among us. Tyia, with roots and wings.

Sea and Sky: October 2008

Friday, October 17, 2008. The Huntsman Hunts Again! And they call this a sick passion. Yesterday Mom and I did Dad the great favor of taking a load of our junk and garbage to the DI (Deseret Industries – a church run thrift store). Ya know, clean out the closets and garage. Organize and straighten things up a bit. Seems fairly innocent. I found me some finds! I got the ribbons for $1 a spool. That's pretty close to million yards right there. The flags have a ton of potential! I absolutely love this guy!

Sea and Sky: January 2012
http://tyiahuntsman.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 24, 2012. So I picked what I thought looked like the best base recipe for pelmeni. I found it on Natasha's Kitchen Blog. Then I went to town for 3 hours! I even got Mom to help with the assembly line and stuffing the little buggers. Once we had the first cookie sheet full I popped it in the freezer quickly. By the time the rest of the meat and dough was used up the first tray was frozen and ready to be boiled. I dribbled some white vinegar, Sriracha (hot sauce),. Weight Watchers Point Va...

http://tyiahuntsman.blogspot.com/2012/10/fresh-start.html
Sunday, October 21, 2012. Last post was about my first love.but we all know, most first loves can't really last in real life *sniff* so we try to put on a brave face *whimper* and we have to keep moving forward *sob* and try to learn to let go . baaahhhh waaaaaahhhhh. So that's the plan.with any luck she'll be mine before Thanksgiving (when I shall have more to be grateful for than I have since Smash). We went back again yesterday to take measurements and pictures, and to give me a little more peace of m...

Sea and Sky: March 2008
http://tyiahuntsman.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 30, 2008. Today staying busy will be easy. I have much to look forward to. Tonight my dear sister and her family are coming over. And my dear cousin and her family are coming over. Not only will they be here to see Grams and to just enjoy each others' company, but we are also going to get to celebrate Kaidance's birthday! So I'm going to sneak around and see if I can find some balloons and streamers or something. Maybe this will help fill the void today. Tyia, with roots and wings.

Sea and Sky: December 2012
http://tyiahuntsman.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 17, 2012. I'm officially in my home :) The process and closing went quickly and efficiently. Papers were signed, key was passed over. And without much climax, that was it! I was a real adult, a home owner! The carpets actually turned out great. Once that was done we got to laying drop clothes and buying the colors I had chewed on for the last 7 months :) Red Delicious for the Family Room, Jungle Trail (green) for my bedroom, and Deep Storm (purple) for the sewing room. I love this green!
