A Bridge over Troubled Water. Swara examines and comments on the Pakhtun practice of giving minor girls in marriage as reparation for serious crimes such as murder committed by their fathers, brother, or uncles. Is trained as an anthropologist and has an M Phil from the University of Cambridge, UK. She has worked on two documentaries on Pakistan's North-West Frontier Province. She is a freelance journalist and works with the Aurat Foundation. Sat, Mar 13th, 3pm.
