Iowa Piano Competition - Sioux City, Iowa
The Iowa Piano Competition. Is an intense three-day competition hosted by the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra in Sioux City, Iowa. The 2017 Competition was held March 9-12, 2017. The next competition is tentatively set for March 2019. More information to follow. The competition consists of three rounds:. First Round - Solo Recital. Each of the twelve competitors will present a 30-minute solo recital of their own choosing. Six semi-finalists will be announced that night. Semi-Final Round - Chamber Music.
