North Dakota South Dakota Wisconsin. The Rockford Zouaves were chartered at the 2009 National Encampment in Louisville. The Rockford Zouaves would become Company D of the 11th Illinois Volunteer Infantry Regiment. Garrett L. Nevius would one day have the Rockford Grand Army of the Republic Post named after him. So it is with that spirit of 'elan and dash, that ten members of the SUVCW John A. Logan Camp #26 chose to form an SVR unit and carry on that sense of "Vigor in Action and Style.".

North Dakota South Dakota Wisconsin. Co B, 20th Iowa Volunteer Infantry. Co B, 20th Iowa Volunteer Infantry was organized by Pvt. Larry Roach in the Mason City area, in late 2001. The unit served as official color guard at the 2002 Iowa Dept. SUVCW Encampment in Waterloo. The unit's namesake fought in the Battle of Prairie Grove, guarded the St. Louis Arsenal and was the first to plant a Union Flag in the fort, concluding the Siege of Vicksburg. 1Sgt Steven C.
