Charm with Doug and Marcy. OUR TRAVELS, ADVENTURES, AND DAILY LIFE. Thursday, November 25, 2010. We checked for the problem which the alarm said was intake flow. That's the seawater intake that helps keep the engine cooled as it runs for hours. I checked and rechecked the amount of the flow while Marcy got out the instructions. Had to conclude that the flow was just fine and that the sensor was probably at fault. So I snipped the wires to the sensor and we were underway an hour late. LaPaz in Oct/Nov 10.

It is one of the most protected harbors in the Sea. It is surrounded by mountains except the channel entrance. One can anchor at Escondido. Or one can attach to a mooring ball, which there are over a 100 moorings. Our alternator is repaired. We had quite an experience finding a mechanic in Loreto. The locals called the mechanic the chicken mechanic.
