New Year No Beer. 8230;and no meat either! Day Fifteen Just Another Manic Monday. Back to the regime today and no ill effects from last night. Second weigh in today. 11 stone 9 lbs. Another 2 pounds gone. I mentioned the wobbly wagon yesterday in relation to falling off the wagon. ‘on the wagon’ supposedly refers to those that were just about to be hanged. They were usually taken to the gallows by wagon and were not allowed to drink as this would nullify the enormity of the punishment. Newer Entry →.

Headache still there but convinced this is due to a crick in the neck caused by too much imputing on the computer and the fact that due to the gales last night I had the windows closed. All in all not a bad beer and no having tasted two NA/LA beers I’m going to give it 6/10 (subject to review as I drink more). If you had to drink alcohol free beer then this fits the bill. And tagged cheese eggs. Crick in the neck.

In February and have started designing a Japanese style beer for the Ancient Mariner pub in Nether Stowey. Managed to source some. Japanese hops supposedly tastes like bubble gum (!
