Taryn Simmons, a noted photographer profiling exonerees for a book she planned to publish, took pictures of Ron and included a summary of his case. When asked to write or say a few final words to accompany his photograph, Ron said:. I almost cursed my mother and dad - it was so bad - for putting me on this earth.
