RCx proactive maintenance = lower energy consumption and smaller energy bills. IRCx offers a free recommissioning audit, plus financial incentives for implementing both recommissioning measures and a preventive, proactive maintenance plan. The required maintenance plan can consist of either:. A computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and a staff person to operate it, or. Most industrial customers of PG&E are eligible. Most industrial businesses that receive gas or electric service from PG&E and pay the Public Goods Charge or Public Purpose Program Surcharge can participate. For a 30 MMBtu/hr boiler that runs continuously at 85% efficiency, a 15% reduction in excess combustion air will increase boiler efficiency and result in annual savings of 35,000 therms. Financial incentives may cover up to 50% of your recommissioning costs. 009 per kWh saved. 100 per Therm saved. 100 per verified peak kW.
