Vom 27. Juli bis 8. August findet in der Grafschaft Sligo das Festival ‚ Tread Softly. Zehn Tage lang wird eine Reihe von Veranstaltungen geboten, die durch William Butler Yeats und dessen Bruder Jack inspiriert sind. Das Programm reicht von Film- und Theatervorführungen, geführten Wanderungen durch ‚Yeats County‘ und Dichterlesungen, bis zum Natur-Camp für Kinder.
