Wow, it’s me again. Life seems to keep me so busy, can you believe I forgot I had a blog! Well I know Farrah will laugh at that! My summer has been a crazy one. Not a normal life thats for sure, but who said being a missionaries wife would be normal! Shawna, Ashley and Caleb McFarland. Our children were 13, 8 and 1 when we sold our home and began the journey to Ireland. At the time our greatest fear was taking them away from all they knew to a foreign field. Now we know, we took them to their destiny. The mission field has made our children who they are today. They have always been willing to tackle whatever task has been laid before them. And most of all, they have taken the burden on as their own.

In the summer of 1996, while working in Florida, I met a man from Northern Ireland. After inviting him to church, I found out that we had no United Pentecostal churches in Ireland. He then invited me to visit his country for one month. When my feet touched the shores of Ireland the Holy Ghost quickened me and I knew this was where God had sent me. In March 2004 we received our Intermediate Missionary appointment to the country of Ireland.
