Obviously things haven't been too bad since I haven't been venting my frustrations here. Three months- wow! Physical therapy hasn't been helping much and so it appears I will be getting cortisone shots in my hips. No, they aren't fun and I'm not going to describe the process since it makes me cringe. Surprisingly I found a moment to be creative and made these invitations to what has become an annual pumpkin carving party at our house. I bought the cards and envelopes and stickers at the Roberts store in Clinton and used some of the paper I got at the scrapbook expo for the background. Here's a snapshot from that first party:. I have to say this morning has been quite nice even though it is grey and rainy. I have a single yellow crocus poking it's head up by the back patio and on my way to Brigham City this morning I passed 6 deer in the fields and a cowboy on horseback checking his fences. Your trip makes me very envious. I want OUT of this winter. I bet you all love it.

C'est une vie folle! A place to get my thoughts out. It's a crazy life! Sunday, December 27, 2009. It has been a good, if nontraditional and somewhat bittersweet Christmas this year. I finally finished all of my felt food sewing with the exception of 2 sets of cookies and it was really fun to see how excited my neices and nephews were when they opened their gifts. Christmas Eve we read the Christmas Story and it was really nice that Alex was able to connect that story with the figures in my nativity.
