The happenings and ramblings of the Berg Family. Friday, February 26, 2010. We have returned from two weeks in Merauke Papua. What a great opportunity to serve others here in Papua. This year we were teamed up with a missionary on the south coast of Papua. The home of swamps, monsoon rains, crocs, kangaroos, snakes, not rocks, and HEAT! At night trying to sleep sweat would be dripping off my forehead. Trying to sleep while you are in a pool of your own sweat is difficult. Posted by Darren Berg.

Then we returned to the chapel for the flag ceremony, where dozens of flags were paraded to the stage by students from the countries represented. We also had our 5th Senior Store last Saturday, and introduced several new items, including cream-filled donuts (I think they’re called Bismarks at Tim Horton’s…or maybe Boston Creams? Aaron and Tanya Jansen. Friday, December 18, 2009. On December 15 at 2:27 Emma Rayne was welcomed here! We were all down the hall anticipating the arrival of the new little baby! Then at last at 2:27am on December 15 we heard the cry down the hall of the little one! She was welcomed by all of her grandparents and aunts and uncles! All of us just as excited as the next! Emma weighed 7lb 14oz. She is beautiful! Here is a picture of the beauty when she first said Hello! She is so beautiful and perfect!

Aaron and Tanya Jansen. Saturday, November 13, 2010. Time Passed and Our Lives are about to change. Well it has been almost a year and I am almost ready to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year like I did in the last post I posted.
