Tuesday night after we had done all we could do to "get out the vote" a group my friends decided, on a whim, that we should go to the Yes on 8 celebration party that we had heard about in downtown Sacramento. The girl cousins (all but Dia that is, she was too little to follow directions) were the flower girls. It was a very nice garden wedding. I even gave my first toast! Seth and Serena Webster. Or maybe just my children are! Some days I don't feel like I really have, but after taking my oldest child to her first day of preschool I realized that I really do have an almost 4 year old! And one year from now I will have a child in kindergarten. Where did time go? Some days I am just amazed at how life goes on no matter what.
