We Do Not Have A Knitting Problem: Oh the Places We Went and Food We Ate! Nashville Version
http://wedonothaveaknittingproblem.blogspot.com/2015/05/oh-places-we-went-and-food-we-ate.html
Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Oh the Places We Went and Food We Ate! This post may cause a hankering for southern food. Especially biscuits. First of all, we stayed at the convention center hotel and quickly found the Opryland Resort was appropriately named. It was like a mini Disneyland! There was a boat ride inside. First southern fried meal was from the iconic Loveless Cafe; complete with sides of fried green tomatoes and mac and cheese. And biscuits. Biscuits and jam. heavenly. A country breakfast is no joke.

Cupcake Faerie: February 2013
http://cupcakefaerie.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Getting over the fear. I'm afraid of my sewing machine. There, I said it. I rarely use it so whenever I need to, I have to get reacquainted with it. The machine can do a lot of fancy things. I even took a class to learn how to use it. But I don't remember much. One of my goals is to get over this fear and make this machine my friend. Today I took step one and sewed up some kitchen towels and dishcloths with my handmade cloth. Links to this post. Friday, February 8, 2013. All i...

We Do Not Have A Knitting Problem: Fresh air, feeling fit, and a free pattern.
http://wedonothaveaknittingproblem.blogspot.com/2015/08/fresh-air-feeling-fit-and-free-pattern.html
Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Fresh air, feeling fit, and a free pattern. A quick vacation post, but I wanted to share a few things with you guys. Fresh air does wonders for the soul. Nice to start your days off like this. What a difference a year makes too! I was able to wear my favorite bathing suit that I couldn't wear last year. Amazing what losing just 15 pounds does? I brought Shaun T and Cize on vacation with me too. Two workouts in already! But I always support them by buying a summer book and plenty ...

We Do Not Have A Knitting Problem: Comfort Food Fingerless Mitts Finished and a Giveaway
http://wedonothaveaknittingproblem.blogspot.com/2014/11/comfort-food-fingerless-mitts-finished.html
Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Comfort Food Fingerless Mitts Finished and a Giveaway. As I mentioned, these mitts were a great travel project and the yarn (Neighborhood Fiber Co. Studio Chunky) is a dream. This is a speedy knit and I look forward to the cozy warmth they will provide. They'd be great holiday gift, either paired with the cowl or solo (or keep the mitts for yourself and give the cowl to a friend :-) ). My go to comfort food is often a bowl of hearty homemade soup like this posole ( recipe.

We Do Not Have A Knitting Problem: Good Juju
http://wedonothaveaknittingproblem.blogspot.com/2013/08/good-juju.html
Saturday, August 31, 2013. It sure has been a tough few weeks around here, but especially this past week. Pa is in the hospital for a knee replacement surgery. He had one five years ago and this is the other knee. Well, he was supposed to go home yesterday, but that's not happening. Hoping he'll get transferred to a rehab center soon, but he definitely could use some prayers and good juju. The past few weeks. She is sooooooo inspiring! I've made my donation (I sooooo love that blanket! So, here's your ch...

Cupcake Faerie: January 2013
http://cupcakefaerie.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 26, 2013. Being in the moment. I'm making good progress on the silk wrap and I'm really happy with how it's turning out. Although, I do have to admit that while I'm at the loom weaving this wrap, all I can think of is the next project. So, what am I thinking about? A while back I wove some cotton fabric for dish towels. I haven't had a chance to finish the cloth or sew the towels, but the next set of dish towels is all I can think about. What pattern will I use? Infinity scarf, Fiar.

We Do Not Have A Knitting Problem: Good Things.
http://wedonothaveaknittingproblem.blogspot.com/2015/06/good-things.html
Monday, June 1, 2015. Two very good things. 1 This past weekend I wasn't at TNNA, the knitting industry's trade show, but my designs were. I love working with Anzula Yarns, and I have a new design that I'll be releasing soon featuring their new yarn, Croquet. Can you see it below? In For Better or Worsted, at Anzula's Booth at TNNA. 2 One reason I'm not at TNNA is because at the end of June, I'm moving to Anchorage, Alaska! To help celebrate, I'm having an Alaska Adventure sale on all my patterns $6....
