Verführt trotz schlechter Straßen zum Kurvenräubern. Einer von unzähligen großen und kleineren Steinkreisen. Ich persönlich war enttäuscht vom berühmten Ring of Kerry. Er ist durch Touristenbusse verstopft und die schönsten Stellen sieht man nicht, da diese sich entlang der kleinen Straßen innerhalb des Rings befinden, wie hier Ballaghbeama Gap. Also raus aus dem Stau und rein in die wunderschöne Landschaft. Allabendliche Entspannung in einem Pub bei einem guten Pint of Guinnes.

Fähre Hook van Holland/Harwich, England und Wales bis nach Fishguard, von wo aus ich erneut 4 Std. mit der Fähre nach Rosslare/Irland übersetzte (Schnellfähre 2 Std. war wegen Sturm abgesagt). Nun ging es entlang der Südküste Richtung Westen. Nätürlich durfte eine Besichtigung der Midleton Distillery. Nicht fehlen. Weiter entlang der Küste über den Ring of Beara. Und Ring of Dingle.
