Sometimes when he's sad or having a bad day, he wears it and it cheers him up. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Winner Dish and Winner Playdate. The kids went on to other houses for water games, lunch, popsicles and jumping castles. Super fun. The day ended with a dryer that is now working (ten points to Ryan for checking to see if the breaker needed to be tripped) and with a tasty night spent with my favorite culinary friends at our neighborhood cooking group, Iron Chef Bountiful. I won the Gold trophy to boot. Puff pastry with "ICB" on top. Cheesy. Walking the group to the next house.

Sunday, August 9, 2015. This Saturday our entire family spent the entire day together. All six of my kids, Preston, Calvin,. Simon, Annie, Owen, Norman and my husband and I were together from sun-up to sun-down. and not just in the same vicinity, but we were actually gathered together, spending high quality time together. No work schedule, no other activities or duties. It. Was. Wonderful! Good morning jog and workout together at Mueller Park Jr. High track. Bowling finished out the night. One More Thurs...

Which led Preston to an envelope under the piano bench. Which led him to some entertainment on October 2, 2015. two tickets to see Sam Smith. Feliz cumpleanos, diez y seis! Monday, August 3, 2015. The more stands I try, the more I am convinced that the best Mexican food stand in all of Salt Lake are is located on the East side of the Sears department store parking lot. It's an absolute fact. This is one of those meals that makes it hard to dine and dash: meaning everyone stays a lot longer at the table and therefore enjoys each other a little more. Thursday, August 13, 2015. One More Thursday to Go! Norman just hung out on his blanket. What a guy. Owen jumping high into the sky. Annie wanted so badly to jump with her little brother, but settled on holding him while sitting on a tramp. Owen about to get to the top of the rock wall. Owen was too light for the safety chord to let him go down, so the worker had to go get a hook to pull him back to the ground. Simon just about to hit the buzzer that celebrates your victory reach of the top.

SO instead of a dinner cooked over an open flame, we opted for breakfast for dinner at IHOP. And a tent set up in our living room.
