Thursday, April 10, 2008. I'm off to my annual trip to Oklahoma. The flight was frightening as we took off in a thunderstorm. Actually saw lightening once in flight. Are they suppose to take off in such circumstances? Anyway, what would a trip to OK be without (yet another) stop at the Art Museum? Above is the large sculpture Dale Chihuly designed. I may have told you before, his wife is from OK,. So he dedicated a permanent exhibit here. These purple glass rods are implanted within the real tree log.

Tuesday, January 29, 2008. My Lovely Blooming Amaryllis. Look at the progress my Amaryllis is making! This may not be exciting to you, but it is to me. Because I have a GANGRENE thumb. See it snowing outside the window in the first photo? Now it has 3 lovely blooms on it and I couldn't be more proud. I didn't kill the darn thing! This was a Christmas gift from one of my brothers.
