About 8 years ago I tore the meniscus in my left knee. X-ray, MRI and consultant confirmed this. Upshot of consultant visits was either they could try and repair the meniscus – 50/50 chance of it removing the pain – or I get on with it to see whether I can do the things I want. In short 50/50 to whether I would actually be able to run!
