I recently got given the “Sims 3” and while I wait for them to slowly die (I locked ‘em all in one big room) I was thinking - why do different measures of time worry us more than others? Have you ever realised the difference between fifteen and twenty minutes? Other than five. Duh. I didn’t start a blog to write about numbers. 8221; we tend to get a little bit outraged. Twenty minutes? Did she just say TWENTY minutes? I’ll never make it! Here's a cartoon I drew.

Sunday, 6 May 2012. Just a Thought: Showering. Here’s a topic I have been grappling with for a while—. And when people take them. I take one shower a day – at night. Unless I’ve been intermittently mud wrestling in manure, in which I may bathe more, I will have one showering experience every twenty-four hours. Some people take two. This doesn’t make sense. Why have a shower before bed and then when you wake up again in the morning? Who wants to sleep in the germs they have accumulated throughout a day?

Monday, April 22, 2013. New Job and a what better way to celebrate! I started a new job a couple weeks ago. I am finally in the field I have wanted to work in since I graduated 2 years ago! I work for a study abroad office in Phoenix :) It is a very prominent international institution sending thousands of student abroad all over the world each year. And the big perk is the office is only 15 minutes away from my house! I cannot tell you how much of a life change this is. an improvement I should say :).

I was ready to be out of the busy, hot city and move on to a smaller, less hot city surrounded by beautiful hills and rainforests! Chiang Mai was definitely my kind of city. Sunday, August 25, 2013. Back East Trip: Mertz's Take Manhattan. Ok, that is a bit of a dramatic retelling, but we HAILED A CAB!
