12 de maio de 2012. Ontem foi aniversário da minha filhota, Nina. Ela queria um aniversário da Terra dos Doces, escolheu o bolo, e eu executei. Bolo de chocolate, recheio de brigadeiro. A decoração era um palácio de doces, que o andar de cima é um maxi-cupcake. Adorei! Para decorar a mesa, me diverti em montar o resto da terra, com cupcake de banana caramelada, cupcake de frutas vermelhas, brigadeiro de colher, e docinhos tradicionais. Filhotinha, que você continue a dar deliciosos desafios para a mamãe!

16 de outubro de 2012. Parece que foi ontem que nasceu o Felipinho, mas agora já faz mais de um ano. Ele, como toda a galera de 1 até uns 5 anos, é vidrado na Galinha Pintadinha. O bolo era para ser pequeno, então achei que o melhor era fazer a própria para ele. Como toda cake designer, adoro estes trabalhos em que o cliente fala o tema e deixa a criação por minha conta. Foi o primeiro bolo que eu fiz para um filho de amigos. O David é um menino muito bacana, amigo de meu filho. 22 de maio de 2012. A Professora do meu filho é Bruxa! Aqui em casa já se tornou tradição: sempre que alguém querido faz aniversário, as crianças me pedem um minibolo. Meu filho Michel gosta muito da professora dele, Tupa, que já foi professora do João. A Tupa diz que é bruxa, e este ano, o aniversário dela foi na sexta-feira 13. bem, daí foi só deixar a imaginação correr no tempo curto que ele me deu para decorar o bolo dela: 35 minutos! 21 de junho de 2012. Filho de peixa, peixinho é. Na última sexta, dia 15, foi aniversário do Michel, meu filho do meio. Ele quis um bolo totalmente diferente: um pão de mel gigante, sem recheio, mas coberto com o chocolate do pão de mel. Na hora que eu estava começando a cobrir ele entrou na cozinha dizendo: "Mamãe, eu vou decorar meu bolo! Colocou o avental, se juntou a mim, e aí está a obra de arte do meu filhote! Parabéns MiniMi, que você continue enchendo o mundo com o teu grande sorriso!

4 de setembro de 2012. É costume, no ano novo judaico - Rosh Hashaná, comermos maçãs com mel. Tanto judeus Ashkenazi, quando os Sefaradi fazem a benção em que um pedaço de maçã é mergulhado no mel, para pedir um ano doce. A maçã com mel traz consigo esperanças para um novo ano bom e doce, gostoso como aquela fruta embebida em mel. Por isto, surgiram vários doces, bolos e pães inspirados nesta idéia. Com certeza um bolo assim traz desejos e preces para um ano maravilhoso, cheio de boas surpresas!
