Despite the stigma attached to timeshares, this has actually been a great little investment for my family because it ensures that we spend time together and take at least one vacation a year. And because we bought our timeshare in Kauai, our annual luau is a little slice of heaven. With or without the kids.

I know I probably shouldn’t call my mother a hoarder, because there is a certain stigma attached to the term. It’s just that my mother tends to hoard things. I also know that my mother will reject the notion that she is a hoarder or, at the very least, she will insist that she is just a “collector.”. Well, there is a fine line between collecting and hoarding.
