These are some pictures from Camp Victory Baghdad. You should be able to click on them to bring them up in a different window. Camp Victory Burger King. Me after a convoy. A friend of mine. Thank God for Ballistic glass. The guy at the Bazzar swore this was a genuine Nike wallet. Pics of a small convoy. I used to live here. A gingerbread village they built in the chow hall. These are some pictures from Beautiful Camp Mahmudiah. Welcome to our tent. My office. That's not me though. Beautiful Mahmudiah as seen through Razor Wire. I'm sure the Colonel feels better with me standing guard. I work in the left hand tent and sleep in the right hand one. I took this picture outside our tent through Night Vision goggles. Here's how I got to Camp Mahmudiah. Local nationals sell stuff on the side of the road everywhere. This is where I sleep.

Monday, March 28, 2005. The Adventures of Cody Badger Part 2. Badger, Badger, G* D* * it, get that 50 going". I new somebody was yelling, but it just didn't make sense. Badger, are you listening, they're shooting at us, kill em! All of the sudden the sound flooded back in my ears like a rush. There was shooting on both sides of the road. Fire and smoke in front of us, and everyone was yelling. We needed to get out of there fast. I yelled hoping he would pop up a start shooting. His gun wasn't firing.

It was great, the first cruise we've ever been on. My Mom flew out to stay with our kids while we were gone. So here's the update on how I got out of the Army.
