http://www.theroederfamily.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
The Adventures of Al, Katie, Benjamin, Molly and Nicholas. Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Having a daughter with some medical issues has proven to be so challenging and rewarding on so many different levels. While I'm beyond thrilled that her surgeries so far have been successful in making it easy for her to breathe and eat and sleep on her back, the unknown aspect of what is ahead for us is driving me absolutely nuts with worry and fear. Sunday, November 18, 2012. We went to Picture People this weekend and...

http://www.theroederfamily.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
The Adventures of Al, Katie, Benjamin, Molly and Nicholas. Tuesday, January 15, 2013. January Update - Molly. We also have her first ENT appointment coming up next week. I'm guessing we'll be told to get some ear tubes put in, not that she's had trouble yet. But, that's common for PRS babies. So I'm expecting it. Good thing is that her hearing doesn't seem to be bad at all.in fact, it's quite good! January Update - Benjamin. He had a great Christmas, and we enjoyed watching him experience "the magic" thi...

The Adventures of Al, Katie, Benjamin, Molly and Nicholas: Molly Update
http://www.theroederfamily.com/2014/08/molly-update.html
The Adventures of Al, Katie, Benjamin, Molly and Nicholas. Thursday, August 21, 2014. We had a speech and dental visit for Molly today. First, I must say, I absolutely L-O-V-E her speech therapist Dr. Riski at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. He's so sweet, and very personable. AMAZING bedside manner (well, if there were a bed involved). He's just awesome! I guess we'll just wait it out and see. (I'm not good at that though! Buford, Georgia, United States. The Adventures of Al, Katie, Benjamin, Molly and Nicholas: Why So Slow?
http://www.theroederfamily.com/2013/07/why-so-slow.html
The Adventures of Al, Katie, Benjamin, Molly and Nicholas. Thursday, July 04, 2013. Benjamin is so slow! That seems a bit odd to say given that he NEVER sits down most of the time, and is always moving around. BUT, when I ask him to do something, he just seems to take forever. Even when I try to be patient with him, and give him the benefit of the doubt, he seems to do things in his own sweet time. So, I found this neat little app on iTunes called Lickety Split Kids Timer. And, it's helping. All in all, ...

The Adventures of Al, Katie, Benjamin, Molly and Nicholas: Eggs in a Nest
http://www.theroederfamily.com/2013/08/eggs-in-nest.html
The Adventures of Al, Katie, Benjamin, Molly and Nicholas. Friday, August 23, 2013. Eggs in a Nest. Yep We're expecting another little bird to arrive in our nest come March! We are really excited and a little bit scared at the same time. Because of the complications we've experienced with Molly, and other difficulties that can occur as a result of "advanced maternal age", we were very cautious in making the decision to try for a third child. Eggs in a Nest. Buford, Georgia, United States.

The Adventures of Al, Katie, Benjamin, Molly and Nicholas: Four Years
http://www.theroederfamily.com/2013/07/four-years.html
The Adventures of Al, Katie, Benjamin, Molly and Nicholas. Thursday, July 18, 2013. It is hard for me to believe that Al and I have been married four years today! Five years ago, I would not have predicted this for myself. But, here I am. Our wedding day was beautiful. The weather, for July, was moderate and almost abnormally cool. My Grandmother (Molly is named after her) was born on that date, and I like to think she had something to do with our wonderful weather. But we have been so blessed! He's a pa...

The Adventures of Al, Katie, Benjamin, Molly and Nicholas: June 2013
http://www.theroederfamily.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
The Adventures of Al, Katie, Benjamin, Molly and Nicholas. Sunday, June 30, 2013. Conversation with a sleepy boy. I just "woke" Benjamin to take him to the potty. After successfully peeing on the potty I said, "ok buddy let's put your underwear back on.". (he has to be naked or he won't go). He looks at me with sleepy eyes and says, "I can't. I haven't wiggled my ding dong yet.". Her personality is blossoming and she is generally a happy baby, though she's going through a bit of separation anxiety at chu...
