Lördag 21 december 2013. At the moment I’m enjoying a. Break of everything that involves outdoor activities and climbing. Actually that´s not really true…. I was lucky to find a job at Klätterteknink in Sweden’s capital Stockholm. We mostly work at Tele2 Arena (a big football stadium). Here I have been working for the latest months and will probably stay here for another while making shorter trips to the Alps and the mountains of Scandinavia. One of the weekend trips. This time in Bergen (Norway).

Onsdag 8 januari 2014. With days off around New Year’s, reasonable priced tickets, and my good friend Ted Ekberg living in Molde I had nothing to lose. The flight in to Molde was very spectacular the clouds where thin and every now and then you could see the mountains and fjords below. At one point we were more or less making a ridge traverse with the aircraft. Söndag 12 juli 2015. The rock course was held end of May in Lofoten in the far north of Norway, also called the magic islands.The Lofoten island offer some world class climbing on perfect granite, natuarally protected with no bolts in sight. Henningsvear and it´s klatrekafeen as a base for the week. Rescue scenario with a view. Is this gonna work good for the client? Tatu a short roping master? Råna, an adventurous and amazing climb, 5c/6a in big boots. Plesure climbing after the course, Frederik cruising.

Onsdag 12 februari 2014. Powder skiing and racing. The weather continues to be normal… in other words loads of grey snowy days and once in a while sunshine days. Unfortunately I still haven´t been able to climb anything high up. A bit tracked here, a good reason to get the camera out. Just before the start. Would be fun to get more racing done in the future! Måndag 20 april 2015. On one of those hills a competition was arranged called ´´Hammarby 2h´´ ( www.vertex.cx/2h/. Warm up run on getryggen. Technique training and filming. We found out that the days before and after the the sixpack race there was a Skimo training camp organized by no one less than Emelie Forsberg, one of the best skyrunner and ski mountaineer in the world. We got the chance to participate and couldn´t say no to that. Place, and most important made it back to the lunch in the mountain hut.

Fredag 11 december 2015. At the moment of writing i´m sitting on the train from Abisko towards Stockholm. In Abisko i´ve attended an ice climbing course. It was my first visit to mountains since July. Everything with very mixed feelings. About 5 months ago on a sunny warm day in Chamonix, the summer turned silent.
