But either way, it was a hit all around. Samuel did great with it! Posted by Kristi Walsh. April 17, 2013 3:21 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tauranga, New Zealand. View my complete profile. Sunday, October 25, 2009. Isn't This a Comforting Thought? Mt Maunganui is the nation's 3rd most dangerous beach. Based on the number of rescues lifeguards have made. Great. Not that I ever go swimming in the ocean, so I suppose this really doesn't affect me personally.). Posted by Kristi Walsh. This really surprises me! October 26, 2009 4:26 AM. Tuesday, December 15, 2009. Last Day of School. We're all looking forward to a bit of a break. Aaron and I have 3 weeks off from the prayer room, so for the next few weeks, the whole family is in "wind-down, put-the-feet up, enjoy long and lazy mornings" mode. It's a much-needed change after a very long year. Bring it on! Posted by Kristi Walsh. Wednesday, December 09, 2009. Samuel's First Rice Cereal. Friday, May 15, 2009. First Week of School. Taylor has done amazing at school this week even to the point where she's surprised us all at how good she's done. Her teacher had her wisdom teeth taken out yesterday, so Taylor had two different subs yesterday and today, making 3 different teachers for her first 3 days in school. And she took it all in stride and did beautifully regardless! I think it will be good for Taylor, too, to have some down time and maybe even a nap or two.she's definitely been ti...

Wednesday, March 16, 2011. Been a long time. It's been a long time since I've posted on here. Over a year to be exact. This mama has been busy running around after my now-20 month old who is absolutely delightful but into. I barely have time to accomplish the things that I want to in a day. But one thing I've decided: one of the things I want to accomplish in my days is getting back into writing. I love writing. And I really miss it. Posted by Kristi Walsh. Friday, March 18, 2011. And the Packing Begins. We started packing yesterday, in light of the fact that we may be moving in a mere 3 weeks. The good thing is that we threw away bags and bags of old stuff that we just don't need anymore. That is such a good feeling! I love the 'new start' that a move provides. What a great excuse to go through all the closets and pantries and have a solid clean-out. It yields a fresh beginning, in what will soon be a few place, ready for a new season to begin.

Thursday, January 29, 2009. The mall. Goes once a year if we're lucky. Doesn't go near the mall for anything, except the goodwill of his heart to help his Kiwi friend. So he and his friend are standing in the jeans department of Dillard's, and Aaron hears a voice call out to him, a voice with a Kiwi accent. The conversation goes something like this:. Man: My name is so-and-so. I heard you speak at a conference one time, and it changed my life. I'm a pharmaceutical salesmen from Bethlehem, Tauranga. So Aa...

Of course for the fact that they've lived in that house for 13 years and have a fair bit of family roots to pull up by leaving, but mostly because they have no idea what's next for them. There are lots of options on the table, but no indication from Heaven yet as to which one is right. Posted by Kristi Walsh. Tuesday, July 14, 2009. One of the things I hate the most. Monday, December 29, 2008. New Zealand is now a better place. Thanks to a Christmas present from Taylor, I have discovered that it is now possible to buy dill pickles here! They aren't as crunchy as Calussen pickles (but to be fair, I was never expecting them to be.), though they did taste as perfect as any American dill pickle. Three years of wishing for dill pickles has now been satisfied. Posted by Kristi Walsh. Monday, December 22, 2008. Here are some pics of the fun:. Posted by Kristi Walsh. I still...
