paggiaborse: maggio 2013
http://paggiaborse.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Mi piace realizzare e cucire borse di tessuti preziosi. Venerdì 3 maggio 2013. Cestino con salviette per bagno. Buon giorno care signore e chi mi segue.

The House with the Blue Door: October 2014
http://thehousewiththebluedoor5.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
The House with the Blue Door. Friday, 31 October 2014. After a very busy but fun half term, Halloween has arrived and we have spookified things here, ready for tonight's festivities. The pumpkin has been carved . The ghosts and bats are here . Cobwebs have materialised . And my favourite, the Indian corn has come out. Not very spooky, but I love those coloured kernels. Cakes are decorated . And sweets are ready for any (friendly) trick-or-treaters. The House with the Blue Door. Wednesday, 22 October 2014.

The House with the Blue Door: Holidays: Flowers and Pootling Around
http://thehousewiththebluedoor5.blogspot.com/2015/08/holidays-flowers-and-pootling-around.html
The House with the Blue Door. Friday, 7 August 2015. Holidays: Flowers and Pootling Around. My next holiday post is a bit of a mix. Of course it contains flowers - you knew it would, didn't you? On the first morning in our little holiday bungalow we sat outside and ate breakfast in the garden. This is the view over the rose hedge. I think the little houses with their steeply-pitched roofs are really pretty. Here are flower beds in the middle of pavements containing trees, annuals, roses and sunflowers...

The House with the Blue Door: July 2014

The House with the Blue Door. Monday, 28 July 2014. Things I Make With Lavender. Lavender is endlessly versatile: it is used to scent things, has antiseptic qualities, aids relaxation and can be eaten too. For centuries people have valued it in all kinds of ways, and I too try to celebrate its different uses. I love to think that I'm keeping some traditions alive in my own little way in my home. Lavender has been with me throughout my life, ever-present from childhood and always associated with my mum...

The House with the Blue Door: May 2015

The House with the Blue Door. Sunday, 31 May 2015. Smells are so evocative, aren't they? Many years ago I collected a set of books which were produced by the very traditional perfumier Penhaligons. One day I plan to buy some of their Bluebell Scent - it's rather pricey, though, so I may have to wait a bit longer! The books are beautiful, filled with floral illustrations and, best of all, with scented end-papers. Here are some of my favourites. And I've had this lilac perfume bottle for more than 20 years...

The House with the Blue Door: August 2015
http://thehousewiththebluedoor5.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
The House with the Blue Door. Monday, 31 August 2015. With just a couple of days before work and school were to start the lovely P had an idea - a last-minute camping get-away to Cornwall. How could I refuse? The campsite was a good one and we woke to a shimmering silvery sky the next morning. The inside was fascinating, with very low ceilings and a calm, whitewashed simplicity. The beams on the ceiling were very low, and the rooms quite small. The hearth and oven downstairs exuded homeliness. As we look...

The House with the Blue Door: November 2014
http://thehousewiththebluedoor5.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
The House with the Blue Door. Saturday, 29 November 2014. We also had our first frost this week which made everything sparkly in the sunshine. As I walked to work I enjoyed looking at the frost-dusted rooftops, and found the sharpness of the cold air quite invigorating. It was a shame that I didn't have time to get out my camera to take photos. They won't last long because at this time of year they are at their sweetest. I also managed to pop out to my local craft shop and buy these sparkly white and sil...
