Monday, October 27, 2008. Pumpkin Patch and The Fair. We went to Jean's Berry Patch a couple of weeks ago to pick out "punkins" as Lauren calls them. She had fun looking at all of the pumpkins, especially the one that was 397 pounds! Here are a few of the pics we took while we were there. Last week Lauren went to the NC State Fair with some friends from Jenny's work. She had a blast and enjoyed the rides and eating yummy food. Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Last Monday Lauren had her first day of preschool. We had talked about it a lot over the past few weeks and boy was she excited to go! Both of us went to drop her off and she did really good! I think it was harder for us to leave her than it was for her to see us go. Her teachers tell us that she is doing really well and every day when we pick her up she tells us that she had fun! We are so grateful that the transition has gone well so far and hope that it continues!

Saturday, November 1, 2008. Lauren experienced her first pumpkin carving this year. She wasn't really impressed with the process, but liked the end result. We were all amazed with Justin's skills at carving since neither one of us has carved a pumpkin since we were kids. Maybe next year we can talk him into carving a Tigger? Sunday, March 23, 2008. Lauren has had a very busy last couple of weeks. She got to go on a couple of Easter Egg hunts, jump on a trampoline for the first time, and visit her great grandma Eloise in Statesville! Yesterday Lauren celebrated Easter in style. She continues to get more and more spoiled and this holiday was no exception. The Easter Bunny brought Lauren an easel so that she can color. Monday, May 18, 2009. Oh, the joy! Once again we have let too much time pass by without an update. She will dig in the dirt at every opportunity she gets, but she might have a dress and jewelry on while doing it! We had a wonderful Easter and spent a lot of time hunting for eggs.
